FEATURED: Babee Crafts has been featured recently on these blogs and websites

  • I was happily surprised in May to find my upcycled baby food jars tutorial on Crescendoh! Who knew a lot of extra baby food jars and a some chalkboard paint could inspire so many creative projects! But now that I have many more spice jars than I need, I guess I'll need to come up with a new idea for using those baby food jars.

  • IndiePa is fabulous directory of independent, handmade crafters and artists who all call Pennsylvania home. I'm proud to have Babee Crafts included in this group of talented PA artists, many of whom call the Philly area home like I do. It is worth spending some time browsing around the site. You'll be impressed by all the talent that calls Pennsylvania home.

  • In March Charlie won a custom designed yarn wreath in a giveaway I hosted on my blog. She was so incredibly kind to feature my wreath and an interview with me on her blog - Clay Space.

  • With May's Clover Market approaching, the Clover Market blog featured a number of new shops that would have booths at the upcoming outdoor event, including Babee Crafts. I'm excited that my first fair experience will be among such cool handmade and vintage goods!

  • Prior to the birth of her little one in May 2011, Sierra over at Actual Mom has been sharing a variety of birth stories from her readers. In early April, she shared my story of my eldest son's birth, a relatively quick, and dare I say, wonderful birthing experience.

  • Modern Parents Messy Kids posted a wonderful piece on Etsy artists donating to disaster relief efforts in Japan. In the article she writes, "One of my favorite aspects of the online artisan community is its soul. A quality that is best exhibited during times of need." It's true. It's just one of the many reasons I love having my shop on Etsy.

  • Erin over at Emmy and Gabbie Paperstyles wrote up a really nice post on my tutorial for upcycling baby food jars. And she's got some great ideas of her own - "It has many applications, but being a party fanatic, I instantly thought it would be cool to use these upcycled baby food jars for little treat jars! Maybe even for a tiny party – where everything is small." Great idea!

  • In February 2011, a little etsy love featured Babee Crafts and our gift certificate giveaway.

GIVEAWAYS: Babee Crafts loves to share the love, so my active giveaways are listed first.

  • Babee Crafts is one of the featured artists in Liliglow Boutique's Summer Giveaway. This giveaway features Liliglow's new Traveler Bag that is sturdy, stylish, and functional for the eclectic fashionista. It has super versatility that makes this bag easy for over-night stays, weekend getaways, a stylish diaper bag, and much more! And packed inside the bag are more fabulous prizes, including a $20 gift certificate to Babee Crafts! The giveaway will run from June 22 - 29, 2011. And there's a coupon code for 15% off anything in my shop for all who enter!

  • The tagline for my shop - handcrafted sweet things for your little busy bees - is cute, but it doesn't really say a whole lot about my shop. I'd love a tagline that has something to do with my focus on organic and eco-friendly baby and new parent gifts. Something succinct, catchy, and clever. So here's the deal - come up with my tagline, and you'll win a $15 gift certificate to my shop. Spread the word! I need all the help I can get! Submit your suggestions HERE. Contest closes on Friday, July 1st.

  • Babee Crafts hosted our first big giveaway in May 2011. The Great Gift, Good Cause Giveaway featured prizes from fellow Etsy artists who are committed to giving back. Sponsors of the giveaway support a variety of causes and organizations. We gave away prizes that were creatively upcycled in an eco-friendly way and featured artists that use their profits to support children’s cancer research. The giveaway featured the work of artists who donate a portion of their profits to animal rescue centers and artists who take into account their ecological footprint as they create their art. And there were a lot of winners! Thanks to all who participated!
