Harvey is a monkey.

Harvey is a stuffed monkey.

Harvey is Jen's son best friend.

We've all had a "Harvey," the stuffed companion who came with us everywhere, part of every adventure in our young lives. The toy that clearly ruled the toy box and wore his mended parts proudly. The toy that mom likely wanted to toss because it didn't even remotely resemble the same color it did when it was new and no amount of washing could help.

Jen, a former teacher, now stay-at-home mom to a two year old son, was inspired by her young man's best friend Harvey. She originally began making animals friends for her son but soon started to fill requests from friends on behalf of their children. And from there, a business was born!

And in beginning her Home with Harvey Etsy shop, Jen also started to support a few of her favorite animal welfare societies by donating a portion of her profits to the places that inspire her, including Best Friends, The Giraffe Conservation Foundation, The Elephant Sanctuary, and Free the Bears.
